The Law of Love [Female Alpha, Male Omega]

[Down-on-her-luck, optimistic alpha dentist] x [Aloof, tsundere omega jewelry designer]

The nurses at the city hospital privately gossip that a man dressed in black and wearing sunglasses has recently been sitting on the bench outside Dr. Rong's dental clinic.

He isn't a patient and doesn't speak to anyone. He just holds a leather notebook, silently writing and sketching.

They jokingly call him “The Reaper of the Third Floor.” One day, the Reaper finally walks into Dr. Rong's office. After having his wisdom teeth removed, the icy omega, blood at the corner of his mouth, mumbles his first words to her: “Let's get married.”

Rong Cheng drops her forceps in shock.

Shu Mingyu insists he chose an alpha who looks just the way he likes, has a low status, and is easy to control, all for convenience.

He plans to use a contract marriage to deal with his family's nagging about marriage and his bothersome heat, and they begin living together.

She pays off his debts, deals with his irritating relatives, and puts arrogant rich kids who look down on him in their place.

At first, he thinks she needs him. Later, he realizes that he is taking advantage of her gentle nature to force his way into her life and keep them connected.

Shu Mingyu also understands that he is often the source of trouble, while Rong Cheng has a perfect match who has been waiting for her all along.

When he realizes she might have a better choice and future, he goes mad with the need to keep her by his side.

As their contract nears its end, Shu Mingyu stares at her with red-rimmed, tearful eyes, gripping the paper as if he would rather die than let go.

She covers his hand, tears up the divorce agreement, and smiles. “We're not getting divorced.”
