Special Department Office

Yun Zheng had always thought she was an ordinary orphan, until the year she graduated from college, when an organization calling itself the Special Affairs Office came looking for her.

"Flexible hours, long vacations, high pay. Not only do we offer the standard five social insurance programs and housing fund, the department also provides additional insurance, and we even arrange marriages."

Yun Zheng's first thought: "Are you scammers?"

The other party assured her, "We're a government agency!"

She believed them and happily joined, only to discover...

Flexible hours meant being called to work anytime, anywhere.

Long vacations meant extended sick leave and bereavement leave.

The pay was high because the jobs could get you killed.

The additional insurance was all accidental death coverage.

As for arranged marriages...

They arranged ghost weddings :)
