I Can Hear Old Memories

Legend has it that in ancient times, evil forces wreaked havoc across the land. Chiyou and the Yan-Huang rulers agreed to set aside their differences and forge five celestial spirit artifacts from spiritual bone and flesh, joining forces to seal the evil away.

Afterward, the gods fell, spiritual energy gradually faded, and the celestial artifacts disappeared without a trace.

They left behind a scroll for sealing demons and a prophecy:

The evil will once again plunge the world into chaos.

For thousands of years, finding the artifacts and sealing away the evil has been a mission passed down through generations among certain people.

Jiang Wanha never imagined that moving house would bring her one strange experience after another, or draw her into a whirlpool she'd never even dreamed of.

An old house that complains about being cold.

A sealed oil-paper umbrella.

A folding fan someone has forgotten.

A jade bangle that has wandered for a thousand years.

Some people would do anything to return to the past. Others refuse to look back, hoping only to move forward with their heads held high.

Then they discover

The past has not passed, the present is not the present, and the future is not in the future.

* Urban fantasy, not based on myths or legends

* Probably a mildly spooky ensemble story with a bit of absurd humor [very confident]

Theme: Strange happenings in the city.
