The Detective Conan Manga Artist Is Changing the Plot Again

Hoshikawa Kazuaki is an ordinary young man determined to become a manga artist. But after opening a strange manga, he gets thrown into the world of Detective Conan and becomes Shinichi Kudo's senior at university. As an interloper in this world, he has an unusual way of staying alive: he relies on likes from forum readers. The good news is that he discovers anything he draws in the manga can directly rewrite future events. The bad news is that this golden finger seems designed to trip him up. Every plotline he changes ends up putting him in mortal danger. He originally plans to gather enough positive reviews and then quietly make his escape, but his friends on the good-guy side look at him with tearful eyes: "You gave up so much to help us!" ...All right. I'm a little touched. I'll stay for now. Just then, the manga releases a new dungeon mission: save the police academy group. To complete it, he'll receive four secret identities, which he'll use to create a new manga in exchange for a new life. Secret identity 1: A forgetful manga artist, unaware of all the secrets surrounding him. Secret identity 2: A hacker worth millions who is always secretly watching the forum. Secret identity 3: A "fake liquor agent" who'd go through fire and water for his unrequited love. Secret identity 4: A police officer trapped in the past but still committed to justice. The new manga finally ends, and the judging period begins. He rubs his hands together, ready to jump in and steer the discussion himself, only to discover that the forum has turned into an ocean of tears "Don't make me cry like this!" Then, while wiping their tears, everyone lines up to catch up on the anime and get their hearts broken all over again. "Wait, if you're all going to catch up on the anime, who's going to like my posts?!" In the end, he has no choice but to jump in himself and earn unanimous praise to complete the manga mission. He never would have guessed that the way to clear the mission would be to make the entire forum cry. Important: OOC warning, with author-created details. The protagonist's forgetfulness and other odd behavior early on are all foreshadowing. The reason will be revealed later. The secret identities' consciousnesses only connect once they're activated. Until then, each one is independent. Here's a preview of an upcoming story: Next Stop: Haunted Amusement Park As soon as I wake up, I'm nearly dead. My "Haunted Amusement Park Bus Stop" can connect to every instance space, but no players come to the station to spend money. If things go on like this, I'll disappear along with this abandoned station, which has run out of energy. To survive, I have to get the station running again. The station has been abandoned for too long to run buses? I fleece the supernatural creatures to get emergency repairs done, and successfully open the transit routes. The shadows on the platform like to eat people? I steal the core crystal from a neighboring instance to power the streetlights and give the players some light. Even the bus stop sign wants to grab players and send them into a battle royale? Heh. Looks like it's time to replace this shabby old sign with a new one. I've already worked this hard, but the players are still so fragile. Sigh! I guess I have to handle them with care. There's nothing for it. If anyone dares covet my passengers, I'll just have to send them to their deaths. Later, players crowd the ticket window, jostling one another to buy a pass to Haunted Amusement Park Station. Looking at the territory I've worked so hard to win, I munch happily on some snacks. Crispy, fragrant fingers, bursting eyeballs, spicy little hearts... Crunch, crunch. Dark red juice spills all over my hands. I lick my lips and smile in satisfaction. Hm? That's strange. The players are safe now, so why is it that whenever they see me they shake harder than they do when they see a ghost? ~ Theme: Ordinary people can do extraordinary things
