The werewolves who were getting along peacefully with Miss Zoey one second turned on her the next!
Poor Miss Zoey was driven out of the reservation, penniless.

To everyone, Forks was a peaceful little town.
The Quileute people of the La Push reservation believed it was thanks to their generations of guardianship. The Cullen family in the forest believed it was because they never caused trouble. Ordinary humans figured it was simply because the town was remote and sparsely populated.
Zoey Lawrence believed at least 80% of it was thanks to her hard work every day!
She was the manager of a chain library, and she lived on the La Push reservation.
A long time ago, she had signed a contract with the ancestors of the Quileute people, much like the one they had with the Cullen family: they would not interfere with or invade each other's territory.
She wouldn't bother the local residents, and the doggies weren't allowed to get in the way of her work.
But! As fewer and fewer Quileute people experienced the change, they seemed to gradually forget their contract with Zoey.
Not only were they constantly disrupting her work, but they also bristled at the mere mention of vampires.
It seemed like they had no idea she was a vampire, too, and every day they buzzed in her ear about those "ancient" legends.
"The age-old conflict between werewolves and the Cold Ones can't be resolved. Billy told me the new Cullen family in town is dangerous. Zoey, you should stay inside unless you have a reason to go out. You've been traveling for work too often lately. It's dangerous." Fifteen-year-old Jacob gave Zoey this warning, though her records said she was twenty.
Zoey tugged at the corner of her mouth, which was hard to keep under control, and agreed.
"Okay."

A month later, Zoey's identity as a vampire was discovered. Soon after, Billy, one of the Quileute tribal elders, politely "asked" her to leave the La Push reservation. He wouldn't even let her take the precious books from the library.
Those were the most important things she owned!
A week later, Billy was in a car accident on the reservation. He was taken to the town hospital where Carlisle Cullen worked, and both his legs had to be amputated to save his life.
When Zoey heard the news, she let out a rare sigh.
She'd told them, hadn't she? Eighty percent of the peace in this town, reservation included, was thanks to her hard work!
Now she couldn't return to the library, and all her work had ground to a halt!
See? The world was in chaos now!

Zoey Lawrence was a corporate drone of a vampire, just 189 years old. In an era when some 3,000-year-old vampire could show up at any moment, she had already learned the meaning of work at such a young age.
She currently worked for a family-owned library chain headquartered in Europe and run by vampires.
A hundred years ago, she had been transferred to the distant La Push reservation in Forks, where she signed countless noninterference treaties with the local werewolf pack.
Now her sacred workplace had been occupied, and she'd been driven out, too.
After a hundred years of conscientious service, she'd actually been expelled!!! (On the verge of losing it.)
Just wait until you die, you stupid humans! And werewolves! She's taking a vacation!
Oh, no! She's taking the library with her!
The entire [Library Prison] is coming along!

Zoey, who had no money, spent a long time mooching off her good friend Rosalie Cullen before it suddenly dawned on her.
"Wait! You can't eat human food? That's so weird." As she spoke, Zoey took a big bite of the steak in front of her.
The Cullens all looked embarrassed. Surely vampires who could eat human food were the weird ones.
"Weird? All the vampires I know can eat it." She said it casually, only to see the Cullens' expressions grow even more complicated.
"Are we really not the same kind of vampire? That can't be..." She'd lost her appetite, so she set down her steak.
Edward could tell Zoey wasn't joking, because her thoughts said the same thing.
"Zoey, do you know the Volturi?" he asked.
Zoey shook her head. She thought she knew who Edward meant. They had to be the most famous vampire group in his world.
"Then, Edward, do you know the Lawrences?"
Clearly, Zoey wasn't asking about herself. Like her, Edward slowly shook his head, uncertainty written on his face.
"Great!" Zoey pulled off her napkin. "Looks like we're vampires from two completely different systems."
At last, this job had fallen apart completely.
Not only had Zoey been driven out by the locals, but she had also found a vampire clan ruled by another "royal family" in the area.

The mess in this world just keeps growing. (A corporate drone watches the show.)
Whatever. Let the grown-ups worry about it. She's just a 189-year-old baby vampire!
By the way, the Cullens' expressions when they found out their family had so many vampires over a thousand years old were absolutely hilarious. Hahaha!
Those old-timers from before the Common Era seem to be getting snubbed. She's much more likable, after all. She's only 189.
Carlisle, 364: ...
Edward, 103: ...
Rosalie, 89: ...
The 189-year-old Zoey cheerfully piped up all by herself. "It's okay, you can join us! Then you'll be kids, too!"
"You can get free blood tablets every month until you're 500!"
She tried to advertise the great Lawrence family.
Seriously, her company... er, her family, had amazing benefits. They even gave out rice, flour, cooking oil, and other essentials for the holidays! (Proud.)
1. The heroine's character is based in part on the settings of the manga Vampire Library and Vampire Knight, but the story itself does not involve them.
2. Edward is the love interest. A twenty-year-old Zoey obviously can't go to high school with them, but she can work as a librarian at the school! It's an easy new job close to home, and she loves it!
3. Isabella Swan is a bit of a dark character. I find her awkward personality hard to write in a likable way. Maybe I can, maybe I can't. Either way, apologies in advance.
Theme: So what if we're from different systems? Let's all play together!
I fainted from laughter. In other words, I have to work without a day off for 50 years and only have 7 months off. It's so miserable. Beat the workers.
I remember that Twilight's vampire setting is that most of the body's body has been replaced by venom, and there is no blood at all. The reason why newborns are stronger is that they still have their own blood before the transformation after they have been transformed.
Wow, it's been updated. It's a big competition.
Oh? So the vampire Lawrence also has a singer setting? The last time Zoe Singer was killed was 104 years ago, and the Twilight story started when Bella moved to Forks around 2005 [Let Me Be Well], exactly 104 years after Edward was born, hehe
Are you coming back? I've watched it twice. I watched it intermittently, feeling sad 🐶
Please update 😭 😭 😭 The writing is so meaningful
