The Day I Crashed into the Strongest Sorcerer

The day a Padparadscha Sapphire weighing nearly a ton fell on the strongest sorcerer.

After taking the alloyed sapphire out and tossing it to Rutile, saying it was a souvenir, I collapsed. But I must have landed at the wrong angle, because I lost consciousness and fell into another world.

I actually saw people filling the streets! This was the first time in over 3,800 years I'd ever seen a scene like this.

The ground was surprisingly soft, too. Was this the past or the future? Ah... Was everyone crowding around me because my red hair was so dazzling?

All those chattering humans. Honestly.

"Cough, cough..."

A voice came from beneath him. Looking down, he realized he was lying on top of someone... No wonder the ground was so soft.

The man was coughing up blood. He looked so pitiful. And, by the way, he'd gotten it all over his "hair." Ew...

"This is the first time anyone's ever made me cough up blood..." said the white-haired guy in sunglasses.

"Ah! Sorry." Padparadscha sprang to his feet, his hair making a lovely tinkling sound as the strands brushed against each other.

Gojo Satoru was glad he'd remembered to activate his Limitless before being crushed flat by that ton of weight. Otherwise, the strongest sorcerer in the world might have met his end today.

He got shakily to his feet. His sunglasses hid his curious gaze, and he was just about to say something.

"Hey, what's your deal? You..."

Padparadscha tried his best to hear the man out, but the emptiness inside his body seemed to sense that it was hollow and lonely again. It was time for him to go back to sleep.

"Never mind. This time, I guess I'll really sleep for good. Rutile isn't here, after all... Mendokusai (What a pain)... Still, this might be for the best. Then he won't spend year after year searching the world for a replacement for me."

When the dazzling red figure in front of him fell over again, Gojo Satoru thought about getting out of the way. But that last impact had left him a little "crippled," so all he could do was keep his Limitless up.

Good grief! He just fell right on top of me again! What is this thing!? It's incredibly heavy, and blindingly bright!
