[Pretty baby mono x possessive, obsessive probe]

Mono is born with a pathological possessiveness and near-mad obsession toward the probe meant exclusively for them.

So the probe takes advantage of this, making mono obey his every command and become his dog, trampling on and using him at will, and controlling their lives.

He is an anonymous voice streamer who lives alone in a house with a small courtyard and keeps a short-legged cat named Beef Noodles. His mother's tragedy made Shen Xingci hate being a mono, and he swore he'd never need a probe in this life.

One day, a new neighbor moved in next door.

Shen Xingci stood by the second-floor window and watched him: a buzz cut, tall, long-legged, his black suit stretched tight over his muscles, with a scar at the corner of his eye.

As Shen Xingci was about to leave, the new neighbor seemed to sense him and looked up.

Their eyes met. The cold sharpness and indifference in the man's gaze startled Shen Xingci, and he instinctively clenched his hands.

That evening, the new neighbor knocked on his door and brought over a little cake he'd made himself.

With Beef Noodles in his arms, Shen Xingci watched as the usually timid little cat made the rare move of leaping toward the man. Shen Xingci lost control and stumbled into his arms. Their skin touched, sending a tingling sensation through him. He hurried to apologize. "Sorry."

The new neighbor didn't say anything. His expression seemed to shift, then he nodded and left.

2. Ji Yunzhou was once a peerless human weapon, brave and invincible. After retiring due to an injury, he became one of the people in charge of the First Research Institute.

A file he happened to see revealed the existence of monos and probes, and he scoffed at the innate bond between them.

He didn't care about any of it until he happened to hear the voice of the streamer his nephew followed, and felt something inexplicably stir within him.

While moving in, he sensed someone watching him. When he looked up and saw that stunning, unparalleled face, his heart jolted.

Hearing the other's voice ignited the madness deep inside him. Afraid his surging possessiveness would be noticed, he pretended to be calm and walked away.

That night, he sat in the courtyard, gazing at the stars and wondering how he could get the man to fall for him.

After an attack, Ji Yunzhou rushed to save Shen Xingci and, for the first time, appeared before him without a mask.

Their eyes met, and for the first time, a color rush passed between them.

3. With each color rush, their feelings gradually deepened.

Shen Xingci thought he would never become an obsessive madman like his mother.

Until one day, he discovered that he, his parents, and many other monos and probes were all subjects in an experiment conducted by a certain research institute, and that his new neighbor was one of the institute's key leaders.

Bonus scene 1:

After their first color rush, Shen Xingci was caught in a conflicted struggle.

Ji Yunzhou deliberately tempted him. "Xingxing, want to see colors again?"

"Deep blue is the color of the ocean depths, azure is the color of the sky, and there's cerulean, Alice blue, cornflower blue... Don't you want to see them all, Xingxing?"

"Call me big brother."

Shen Xingci blushed scarlet, his lashes trembling. "Big brother." After saying it, he kissed him.

Bonus scene 2:

Ji Yunzhou used his own secret as bait, deliberately luring Shen Xingci into playing a game.

With his eyes covered, he heard Ji Yunzhou say, "Xingxing, kiss my face."

Shen Xingci was sure he'd win, but Ji Yunzhou deliberately made him kiss his eye.

"Your punishment is to take off your shirt."

Ji Yunzhou then told him to kiss his lips. Shen Xingci thought the other man would deliberately trick him, but he really did get to kiss him.

He wasn't let go until his legs went weak.

"That's your reward," Ji Yunzhou said.
