What's Wrong with Studying Hard in the Mafia?

Yichuan Amber had known since childhood that the world he lived in might not be a normal one.

For instance, on his way to school, he would always see two groups of dangerous people fighting in the street, and the people around him all seemed to have inexplicable supernatural abilities.

But Yichuan Amber didn't care about any of that. He just wanted to study hard and get into Tokyo University.

With that in mind, Yichuan Amber was dragged by his childhood friend into joining the Mafia.

Others interrogate prisoners with torture.

Yichuan Amber: You can't eat or sleep until you finish this practice test.

Prisoner: ?

Others negotiate by weighing the pros and cons.

Yichuan Amber: How about this: solve this geometry proof, and we've got a deal.

The other side: I'll pay more.

Others train their disciples with two punches and five bullets.

Yichuan Amber: Studying is the right path for a child. Do this English reading comprehension passage.

Akutagawa: ...?

Two years later, Yichuan Amber proudly became one of the Five Executives.

One week after becoming an executive, Yichuan Amber defected.

Yichuan Amber: This won't do. Being an executive is too busy. I need to study.

The Boss: ...?

P.S. A lighthearted, silly comedy. Pairing with Dazai (probably).

Theme: Work hard to create a beautiful life.
