My Dating Game Is a Little Too Detective Conan

Shindai Hikaru has no idea why, when his boss only asked him to investigate an entertainment company that might be a base for an enemy organization, he ended up getting spotted by a talent scout and debuting as an idol with nationwide fame.

His childhood friend, the bandage-wearing freak, is delighted by the turn of events. But Shindai Hikaru, who is busy being an idol by day and a Mafia member by night, doesn't feel the same way.

To relax, Shindai Hikaru buys a dating game supposedly designed to help people unwind, titled [LOVELOVE~Heart-Pounding Signal~Forbidden Love].

The game's name is pretty weird, and there's only one romanceable character, an obscure man named Gin, but none of that stops Shindai Hikaru from diligently completing quests and building affection.

Can't afford equipment? I'll spend money and buy it for you!

In danger? I'll take a bullet for you!

Badly injured? I'll take care of you!

Thanks to Shindai Hikaru's tireless efforts, he completes the game a year later.

After reading the heartfelt confession from the man named Gin on the game screen, Shindai Hikaru puts the game away and never touches it again.

Shindai Hikaru doesn't think anything of it, until much later, just after he finishes a performance and walks offstage, a silver-haired man corners him backstage.

The man looks down at him, his dark green eyes unreadable and the smile on his lips cold and dangerous.

"You listened to my confession and then disappeared? Typical of you, superstar."

Confession? What confession?

Shindai Hikaru frowns and thinks hard for a long time before finally recalling the game he'd completed ages ago, titled [LOVELOVE~Heart-Pounding Signal~Forbidden Love].

Shindai Hikaru: ??!!
