A Guide to Cultivating the Heartless Dao

After transmigrating into the world as the senior disciple of the Heartless Dao, Gu Xingnian was stunned!

He had only ever seen cultivation in novels. He never expected to become a cultivator himself, let alone an experienced practitioner of the Heartless Dao!

They say the Heartless Dao is the most popular discipline among protagonists in cultivation novels, but also the one with the lowest graduation rate.

And Gu Xingnian has every buff stacked against him: he's the senior disciple of his sect, cultivates the Heartless Dao, and even has the surname of the chosen male lead.

Can he graduate safely and successfully?

As a staunch single-by-choice, Gu Xingnian is perfectly suited to the Heartless Dao's cultivation system. He declares that he'll become an outstanding graduate of the Heartless Dao: if all goes well, he'll ascend to the Upper Realm; if not, he'll accept a reappointment.

Unfortunately, the cultivators of the Harmony Sect have a habit of making Heartless Dao practitioners their number-one targets.

How can he avoid becoming the graduating class of the Harmony Sect's final project?

Gu Xingnian says he has three rules.

One: Refuse, refuse, refuse!

Two: Refuse as hard as you can!

Three: Refuse coldly!

Don't even think about breaking his Heartless Dao heart!

Reading Guide:

One: A handsome sword cultivator, the standard Heartless Dao practitioner, as the shou x a seemingly frail, beautiful, actually scheming and gloomy ghost of a medicine master as the gong. The shou starts out straight and turns gay.

Two: A cultivation progression story about the Heartless Dao, with some love-rivalry elements.

Three: The Heartless Dao isn't about severing romantic feelings. It's about carrying a great love for all under heaven in your heart. People aren't plants or trees, so how can they be without feelings?

Four: No breaking up the pairing, no reversing the roles, no gong sisters. May this little couple stay together forever.

Theme: No matter what you cultivate, you have to work hard!
