[DC] Would Your Ex-Girlfriend Want to Gouge Your Eyes Out?

When you were eighteen, you found a dog on the island of Sicily.

A little dog, battered and barely clinging to life.

His features were much softer than those of the locals. He had been shot several times, and his body was covered in knife wounds and bruises, his injuries still bleeding profusely. He was curled up in the shade of citrus trees and oleanders.

You were overjoyed, taking him as a birthday gift from the heavens. He would softly murmur your name in his halting Italian, gently brush his cracked, chapped lips against the back of your hand, and drink the clean water from your palm. In the sunlight, his brown irises shone like caramel.

Two months later, your dog recovered from his serious injuries and left without a word. Soon afterward, two criminal masterminds met gruesome deaths on Sicily.

Years passed. He made a name for himself in Southeast Asia, carrying a thick stack of evidence of your family's financial crimes and announcing that you were soon to be executed.

"Any criminal who sees my true face has to die," he said.

"Come on, big brother. How many years has it been? Don't you think your reaction time is a little too slow?"

1. The male lead is the Ghost Maker. A super-short second-person story.

2. Neither the male nor female lead is right in the head. Be warned: graphic ketchup-red blood and an unhealthy relationship.
