If the Galaxy Were Brilliant

History is written by men, and the women in its pages are either femme fatales who bring ruin, or temptresses who fulfill fantasies of beauty.

Wicked enchantresses, empresses and consorts, famous courtesans, chaste heroines, princesses...

They are symbols of history, their flesh and blood picked clean,

demonized, vilified, condemned and attacked.

If the stars shine across the river of time, they should shine among them.

A collection of deconstructions of historical women, all fictional stories.

There is already a derivative story about historical women in my series, but it wasn't written very well, so I'm trying a different approach.

Theme: The possibility that women are real, flesh-and-blood people.
