Jiming is a devoted player of X Factory. Specifically:
He has top-tier accounts for every faction, never misses a daily task, maxes out every event, and has to come in first in everything.
Now he's transmigrated to an unfamiliar world with his accounts.
What a shock! My charming old ancestor succeeded in cultivating immortality!
-
When Jiming realized his game interface had come with him and now had a progress bar, he understood.
This meant he was supposed to become the best in the world!
Every person who became the best in the world had shown talent as a child, and Jiming was deeply convinced of this.
At seven, he challenged the Cloud Knights and was admitted as an exceptional case.
Then he secretly followed an expedition and single-handedly wiped out an entire Borisin fleet, returning to camp unharmed with Father Fu's head.
After becoming a Cloud Knight Lieutenant, Jiming decided he needed equipment to match his status. He pestered a rising artisan into forging him a complete set of weapons, then ran around challenging people on every Xianzhou.
As he grew stronger and stronger, the progress bar kept rising at a breakneck pace. Jiming was sure he was on the right track, so he turned his attention to beings beyond the Xianzhou.
First he spent ages chasing down some Emanator of Abundance and hacking away. Then he went with Aha to provoke Nanook, hitched a ride on the Astral Express, and even met the Reignbow Arbiter, with whom he had a thoroughly satisfying fight.
As for the time the Abundance caught him and kept him locked up for who knows how long, or how he lost track of time watching Qlipoth build a wall, or how he tried to find Nous's core in the archives and got electrocuted, well, let's not spread those stories around.
But... he hadn't reached the top yet, so how had the progress bar filled up?

Let's interview some of the people mentioned above, and a few who weren't.
Jing Yuan: When I heard he was asking about recent miracles of Abundance, I knew an Emanator was in for trouble.
Yingxing: When I received this order, I knew he was about to go wild again.
Dan Feng: He said my healing and combat abilities were both inferior to his. I can't say the loss was undeserved.
Aha: What a fun playmate. When shall we go another round?
Qlipoth: He said I wasted his time and demanded the flame inside me as compensation. He's been coveting that effect for ages.
Lan: He asked if he could ride on my back, because he wanted to experience what it felt like to ride on a Aeon.
An unnamed Emanator of Abundance / a Lord Ravager cut down in one stroke / a company employee: Thanks a lot, really.
Reader's Guide:
1. A brainless, indulgent story where everyone loves the protagonist; pairing undecided.
2. The High-Cloud Quintet's conflict was averted, and I'm still thinking about what comes next.
3. Max level from the start, invincible across the world (except against Aeons).
4. Much of this is made up. I'll do my best to make it understandable to everyone.
Theme: Work hard and stay positive
