[Western Crossover] The Grim Reaper Is Always Working Overtime

[Blue Flame plus ○ Lin, a nontraditional cyber-reaper]

[You know that kind of gloomy-looking cool guy?]

A pale, melancholy young man has recently arrived in Gotham.

He's inherited a mansion next to Wayne Manor from a distant relative. He has no steady job and spends his days lazing around.

Sometimes he's a gentleman dressed in a suit, but more often he's out strolling through the misty streets in a strange, medieval-style cleric's cloak.

He claims to be an accountant.

"Very suspicious," says Bruce Wayne, master of Wayne Manor, AKA Batman, as he pushes open a window and gazes at his neighbor's estate.

"Mhm." Alfred sets down a cup of coffee. "Do tell."

"His house is on fire, but it's completely unharmed."

"And the fire has been burning for 21 days."

Alfred: "..."

Alfred: "???"

Hello, I'm a reaper. My public-facing job is accountant.

After winning the "Best Reaper" award and the title of "Radiant Ferryman" for twenty years running, my boss decided to grant me a vacation.

"It's a very peaceful world," he said meaningfully. "There are lots of superheroes saving the world, so your job will be a breeze."

...I was so naive back then. I had no idea that where there's a cure, there's a disease.

So I happily moved my mansion and luxury car over, planning to enjoy a relaxing vacation.

First day of vacation: overtime.

Second day of vacation: overtime.

On the twenty-first day of vacation, I threw off my cloak and decided to send every last culprit who kept me from retiring in peace straight to the afterlife!

I'll start with Gotham's specialty, Arkham Asylum! (Pulls out a gun.)

I'm done.

The reaper is pulling another spiteful overtime shift today.
