The RPG game Revelation of Grudges and Retribution, based on superhero comics, has just launched, with four popular alternate superhero skins also being given away at random as bonus content:
Lord Superman in a black-and-white uniform, Iron Man in silver liquid-metal armor, Captain America with a crimson serpent shield, and... Lego Batman with C-shaped hands and rock music playing in the background!
As a superhero fan, Xi Er decided to use her money to get them all! But something seemed to go wrong when she redeemed the bonus codes.
[This action may cause the timeline to collapse. Do you wish to proceed?]
Of course! Wouldn't that make it more of a challenge?
Xi Er clicked [Start Game] without hesitation!
Then Xi Er transmigrated :)
In this world, Iron Man uses the Extremis virus to control humanity, the Supreme Leader of HYDRA proclaims that he will build a new world, and the Justice Lord is determined to regulate humanity's path forward.
And Xi Er's identity from the start is that of a minor supervillain on the wanted list.
...A supervillain in a world of corrupted superheroes. Fine. Two negatives make a positive. I'm a good guy through and through.
With the difficulty of staying alive skyrocketing, Franny immediately turned around and defected to Batman, joining the resistance!
Then, during a battle, dear old Batman's head was sliced off and rolled to the ground.
Xi Er: ???
The next second, Batman came running over, picked up his head, and stuck it back onto his neck. With the sound of interlocking bricks, he was good as new.
Xi Er: ???
"Who's the Batman!" Batman sang in a gravelly voice as he danced away to rock music: "~"
Xi Er: ???
Excellent. Time to give this dark world a shock worthy of a kids' show!
"But seriously, have you considered releasing a bonus skin for the Batman Who Laughs?"
Xi Er said sincerely:
"The world's already this messed up, so why not blow it all up together?"
Question the villains, then outdo them!
"How can dying together not count as a happy ending?"
