Seriously, Evil God Boss, You?!

The fantasy full-dive game "Sacred Relic Realm" officially opens for public beta today.

Sylvia, Lv. 999, Demon Realm, Young Master of the Evil God, final boss.

- You've come? Hmph.

- I'll trap every player in my world. No one will ever leave!

The final boss issues a hidden quest, waiting for the first naive, sweet player to show up and get themselves killed. She'll slaughter them on the spot as a warning to the others.

She waits and waits. The palace doors swing open, and a Lv. 10 boy walks in. He's unarmed and frail, looking like he couldn't survive even a basic attack from his own demon pet.

He even has two soft, drooping puppy ears.

"I was just passing through." The boy's voice is soft and gentle. "Could you let me go, Evil God?"

...There's no point killing someone like him!

I'll take him under my wing. Definitely not because his puppy ears are so cute.

During the public beta of "Sacred Relic Realm," every player knows there's a six-winged Archangel Beast who seems like a fringe player but has secretly joined the players' ranks with formidable strength.

The players are terrified. "We can't log out! Archangel, save us!"

"Can't be helped." Lu lazily chews on a blade of green fodder Sylvia gave him, then switches sides on the spot. "The boss wants to destroy every one of you. Sorry about that."

The players: "?"

After countless battles and devastating losses...

The players rally and a crack elite squad sneaks into the Demon Palace overnight. They see the Archangel Beast beside the throne, and the ravishing boss pinned against it.

The Archangel Beast spreads his six wings, his soft beast ears drooping as he says gently:

"Boss, I've completed my [quest].

"So, can I use my beast form tonight?"

The players: "???"

*A nontraditional take on Sword Art Online.

*I promise this is all just a game, and not a single player will get hurt.
