[Huh, why are all the characters in this danmei author's stories girls?] [The flashback storyline also has a cross-dressing bottom, but he'll resume his real identity in the present-day storyline] The Demon Realm is dangerous enough already. Being a playboy there is even more dangerous. Qing Zhiwei, a rising star in the demon-hunting world. Whenever he steps into the territory of a powerful demon, he somehow manages to leave unscathed. Everyone: It must be because he's so good at his job! Qing Zhiwei: Thanks for asking. The real reason is that all the big shots in the Demon Realm are my ex-boyfriends. I'm at a loss over how to explain that I have more than one ex. In truth: Qing Zhiwei never goes anywhere without his illustrated demon guide, because every demon in it is an ex; Qing Zhiwei has powerful demons show up at his door every night, because his exes are everywhere in the Demon Realm; Qing Zhiwei never gets hurt while hunting demons, because the demons he's after are all his exes. And the most troublesome part is that back then, he was cross-dressing, and had an unrequited crush. * Night. Knock, knock. Someone rapped on Qing Zhiwei's door. Pinned against the wall and kissed by the Nine-Tailed Imperial Fox, Qing Zhiwei opened his misty eyes and panted softly. "...Open the door." The young man pushed the Imperial Fox away without a hint of hesitation, his voice cool. "Another ex-boyfriend is here. You'd better leave soon. Don't knock on my door at night when he's around." The Nine-Tailed Imperial Fox narrowed his eyes dangerously. "..." Outside, the Phoenix heard him and snapped the doorknob in half.
