[Genshin Impact] Exes All Across Teyvat

I've always known that this world is a game.

A game of endless repetition, endless cycles, and endless destruction.

And I seem to be an NPC who isn't much affected by the World Tree, one who has gained a will of his own.

I don't even truly die.

Come to think of it, I've wanted the scribe's body for a long time.

The world will reset anyway, so doing something a little outrageous... should be fine, right?

Before the World Tree truly reset, Shi Yu was an ordinary scholar of the Akademiya's Zayin faction. In every cycle, to keep from getting too bored, he went exploring everywhere and found himself a boyfriend or two who suited his fancy, then faked his death when the reset came.

Oh, well. It's only natural to get fed up and not want to follow the plot anymore.

When the Traveler from another world awoke and the memories stored by the World Tree were projected, everyone who'd been deceived in body and heart was left with memories that would haunt them for life.

Those memories were so real they could pass for truth, and the emotions in their dreams drove them mad.

After successfully faking his death in front of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's consultant, Shi Yu was stunned to discover that the worldline hadn't reset.

He came back to life in a pitch-black wilderness, only to find that his earlier reckless behavior had cost him his sight.

So... which ex-boyfriend is holding him right now and saying he wants to marry him?

Huh? Who has the time to keep track of all their exes?

[Content Warnings]

1. The core premise is unchanged, but the author is too much of an idiot to write a big plot, so this has been changed into a messy romance about a scumbag whose love life goes off the rails.

2. All adult men are included except Baizhu and Itto (I just don't feel anything for those two). The teenage boys depend on my preferences.

3. There are a lot of people, so the story will probably start with the time loop being broken.

4. There's no major plot. If anything, it's a chronicle of a scumbag's disastrous escape (pointing fingers) + the protagonist getting topped.

5. There are some butterfly effects, but not many. In any case, they're not the focus of the story.

6. He's unlikely to keep waiting until a set point in the timeline to reveal himself. Whenever the protagonist gets bored, he'll fake his death. He's a genuine scumbag.

Theme: Work hard and stay positive.
