Case File Notes

After dying of heart disease, Xie Tinglan thought she would be gone for good. But in her final moments, she saw a familiar person: a character she had created, a gloomy, obsessive, inhumanly brilliant heart doctor with a yandere streak. Even so, she was his creator, and seeing the suffering in his past filled her with guilt and pity.

The medical records room was filled with rows upon rows of cold, impersonal codes, as well as photos from her student days.

The young man bent down, removed the handcuffs from her wrists, and murmured, “Don’t pity me when the north wind sweeps across the land in winter. Please fall in love with me before the grass grows and the birds return.”

Gloomy, brilliant yandere cardiologist VS wealthy, elegant, independent designer of custom ethnic fashion

(Unrequited love, salvation, yandere fictional character, angsty author punished, refined scoundrel) (The male lead has self-destructive tendencies, and is obsessive, worshipful, stalks her, and is dependent on her) (Content warning: The hospital in the story is not a public hospital. In reality, someone who meets the male lead’s qualifications would be over 35, so to make him younger, his background has been handled in a rather fantastical, idealized, and deliberately vague way. Please don’t scrutinize it.)

Theme: Do not casually change another person’s fate
