Don't Get in the Way of My Dating

1.

On the first day after the college entrance exams, Xu Qingxia began pursuing Chen Fangyu, the worst-behaved guy in school.

But Chen Fangyu turned her down again and again.

Xu Qingxia asked him, puzzled, "I'm not bad-looking, and I'm great at school. Why don't you like me?"

Chen Fangyu grabbed one of his buddies beside him and pointed at the guy's arm. "I like tough girls. Come on, burn a triangle into your arm, and I'll date you."

His buddy: "?"

What did I do to deserve this?

Xu Qingxia thought for a moment. "Burning yourself with a cigarette is so old-fashioned. How about I kiss a triangle onto your face, Brother Yu?"

"..."

Everyone cheered and laughed. The cocky Brother Yu had been teased.

Xu Qingxia pursued Chen Fangyu only because she felt her three-year crush deserved some kind of conclusion.

Since three months of relentless pursuit had gotten her nowhere, and she and Chen Fangyu hadn't applied to the same university, it was time to end things. There were plenty of handsome guys at college anyway.

On the first day of university, Xu Qingxia ran into Chen Fangyu at the freshman registration desk. She was surprised, but didn't say hello. She was busy adding a handsome upperclassman on WeChat.

Chen Fangyu blocked her way. "Didn't you see me?"

Xu Qingxia looked confused. "I did, but aren't we strangers? Could you move, please? I'm adding the upperclassman on WeChat."

Chen Fangyu still wouldn't move. Xu Qingxia got impatient, dug out two coins, and stuffed them into his hand. In a hurried whisper, she said, "I'll buy you an ice cream. Move aside, and don't get in the way of my dating someone."

Chen Fangyu: "..."

A cute and sweet campus romance, perfect for a bedtime read.
