The Simp Top Reborn and Done With It

A story where the shou changes. The gong is reborn at the start of the story. After awakening, he discovers that he's the doomed, early-death cannon-fodder ex-boyfriend in a harem story about a universally adored shou. He gives up on the toxic shou and resolves to stop being a pathetic bootlicker. The story will include flashbacks to the gong's painful, unrequited love in his previous life.

Cheerful, laid-back, done-with-love reborn gong Chen Du x devoted, reserved, straightforward shou He Qiao, whose secret crush comes true x selfish, hypocritical, melodramatic, universally adored shou Jiang Xing.

"In his previous life, while Chen Du was still chasing after Jiang Xing, doing everything he could to please him, He Qiao already had eyes only for Chen Du."

After falling in love at first sight with Jiang Xing, the transfer student, Chen Du, a school tough, immediately lost his mind and became a bootlicker. He fought and took beatings for him, took the blame and punishment for him, and worked part-time to earn his tuition. He went to exhausting lengths before finally winning him over.

Even though Jiang Xing was always nitpicking and criticizing him during their relationship, putting him down as if he were worthless, Chen Du never got angry. He would apologize, then keep trying every trick he knew to soothe his sweetheart.

Only after Chen Du died while shielding Jiang Xing from a fatal knife attack by someone out for revenge did he learn that he was the cannon-fodder gong, destined to die early, in a harem story about a universally adored shou.

Meanwhile, Jiang Xing, the protagonist, was involved in extraordinary relationships with several other men while dating him, including a domineering CEO, a scheming doctor, and a rising young actor.

After his sincere love was thrown to the dogs, Chen Du was reborn and freed from the control of the plot. He decided he was done being a bootlicker!

When he returned to the moment he first met the transfer student, he didn't ask the teacher to seat Jiang Xing beside him. Instead, he chose the new classmate who had transferred from another school.

His new deskmate, He Qiao, was a quiet, fair-skinned boy. He would bring Chen Du water, mark his tests, and do his homework. When Chen Du was losing a group fight, He Qiao would call for backup and stand in front of him.

Even more dangerously, He Qiao seemed to have been reborn too, and it seemed he'd been in love with Chen Du for a long time...
