My Worst Enemy Fell on Hard Times, So I Took Him In

·Li Xuan, my childhood rival who grew up with me and was always the kid other parents held up as an example, was forced by his scheming, unscrupulous advisor to leave his prestigious university with a suitcase and return home in disgrace. The day he came back, he was too ashamed to face his parents, afraid of disappointing them. Luckily, I happened to be driving by and picked him up from the roadside, bringing him home with me.

By then, I was living on my own and running a jianbing stall. Feeling pretty pleased with my modest profits, I decided to take the chance to bruise his pride. I smugly raised my chin and boldly declared that I would keep him. Fresh from his crushing setback, he stared at me blankly. After a long moment, he smiled and said yes. From then on, we lived together, ate together, and worked together, spending every day side by side as we had before.

Later, he pulled himself together and made a killing in the business world, earning a fortune and giving it all to me. But he also unfairly claimed most of my bed and bullied me every night.

Still, considering how good he is at making money and how handsome he is, I suppose I'll forgive him.
