Why Is the Main God Like That? [Infinite]

About this story's schedule: After asking an experienced author for advice, they felt that my current writing ability and experience aren't enough to write a good unlimited-flow story. On top of that, although I've been working hard on this one, plotting it has been giving me a headache, and it's doing very poorly. So I've decided to pause updates for now. I'll come back and finish it when I'm capable of doing it justice!

Silly blurb:

Ever since Guining entered the game world, the System has been worried every day: "What is the Master God up to this time?"

Guining thinks she's seriously trying to clear a survival game, never realizing that the System thinks she's playing a role-playing game...

Every day, the System does its best to play a dangerous and captivating villain without ruining the Master God's gaming experience.

Serious blurb:

Before entering the game world, Guining never thought there was anything wrong with her.

Even when she played the role of a certain sun, shattered into countless pieces within the game world, she thought her incompleteness was simply part of the setting. Who would have guessed that when the sun fully regained its authority, she would gain the sun's complete power as well?

What is real, and what is false? What is right, and what is wrong?

She begins to question her very existence.

The ancient cultivator Guining: once every illusion is stripped away, who is she really?

*

"If, and I mean if, everything had already been arranged before we began investigating, then what would be the point of doing any of this?"

"But I don't want to let a die decide my ending."

Guining: Born rebellious, if fate won't let her choose, she'll force it to bend!

"Rewriting the script is your specialty. Fate ought to bow to you."

Content warnings:

1. A woman who's always tried to be a good person, only to discover she's not even human, as the unhinged female lead X A seemingly tsundere but actually fervent, delicate, and weepy male lead who is a true believer. (Ahem.)

2. A pseudo-unlimited-flow story, with lots of original Cthulhu tabletop roleplaying and Cultist Simulator settings. (The settings have been simplified a lot so everyone can follow along.) [Definitely not because the author finds them too complicated to write clearly.] Strike that.

3. Lots of unrequited love, the female lead has fans everywhere, and fervent believers are as common as dogs.

Theme: Never bow to fate.
