Is It Illegal to Like Divorced Women?

Xue Lingge's family was rich. So rich that everyone in Hong Kong knew her father had money. In 1999, the kidnapping of the youngest daughter of a real estate tycoon's fourth wife sent shockwaves across Hong Kong.

Xue Lingge was rescued, but her freedom and personality changed dramatically.

Every so often, she dreamed of the plainclothes policewoman who had saved her from a dark warehouse: her warm embrace, her callused hands, and the hot, bloodied scent of her blood.

Everyone said the policewoman had died saving her. They even put up a gravestone. Yet Xue Lingge caught sight of that familiar figure, who had appeared in her dreams countless times, on the street.

She cast aside reason and her family's teachings, and helped the woman trapped in the mire escape the abyss.

Living together, falling in love, embracing...

Xue Lingge gently pinched Lin Yusen's chin, which resembled the woman in her dreams, and made her imitate the policewoman on TV. Her lips lightly bit the woman's shoulder and neck.

"Is it against the law to like a divorced woman?"

Everyone said the real estate tycoon's youngest daughter had lost her mind. For the sake of a divorced older woman, she went to great lengths to fight in court and escape the control of her father, even squeezing into a cramped little room, all for love.

Xue Lingge didn't care. Looking at the cake on the table with twenty candles stuck in it, she clasped her hands together. "I hope Lin Yusen stays safe and happy, and lives to a hundred."

I'll be with her, too.

At twenty-five, Lin Yusen had lost her memories and her family, had an unhappy marriage, and worked over ten hours a day at a convenience store.

With just one casual glance, she realized that there really were people whose birthdays drew all of Hong Kong's celebrities to celebrate with them, and who could casually hand out a stack of tips and give her a comfortable life for a while.

Struggling in the mire, Lin Yusen wove a web in the dark.

She had to drag the moon down into the mud and use it to climb out.

Who could have guessed that the moon in the sky would come to her?

"I like divorced women. I only like Lin Yusen."

Lin Yusen went from taking to giving.

At Xue Lingge's command,

Lin Yusen gave her everything she wanted.

[The haughty, scheming little princess Xue Lingge x The ambitious, cynical divorced woman Lin Yusen]

[Xue Lingge: "What are you looking at? What's wrong with liking a beautiful, curvy woman who's clever? So what if she's divorced? None of you understand how wonderful Xiao Yu is! She's crazy about me!"]

[Lin Yusen: "If there could only be one hopeless romantic in the world, Xue Lingge would win by unanimous vote."]
