[Genshin Impact] After the Romance Routes Merged

[Complete] The final pairing is Zhongli, but the other characters also get plenty of story time, so enter at your own risk.

[Comments on paragraphs are unrestricted. Feel free to leave criticism or flowers. Anti-piracy protection is set to 70%.]

[The outline is set at around version 4.3, and any discrepancies won't be revised.]

[The protagonist is not sexually chaste! Proceed with caution if that's a dealbreaker! With this many relationships, you should know I can't make it all work out neatly, right?]

[My next story will be "[Genshin Impact] After Rebirth, My Geo Archon Husband Has Passed Away". The blurb is at the bottom; go directly to my author page.]

The Teyvat Case Files is a full-dive romance game you picked up.

As a player, you only like two kinds of romance options: adult men and dragons. Characters who are both get your attention first.

After collecting every ending CG, you transmigrate.

Looking at the rows of affection levels on your interface, then thinking of the combat ability of some of them, you realize your life may be in danger.

Question: What's it like to have love debts all over the seven nations?

Answer: Remember to keep your secret identity under wraps.

You're glad that although your name and appearance are the same in every playthrough, your identity and life experience are different, and your personalities are worlds apart.

[First Playthrough: From Sacrifice to Bride]

You were carefully chosen as a sacrifice, a gift from the people to their Archon.

Morax simply arranged for you to live as an ordinary person, and you were quite happy with that.

In Guili Assembly, you met a man named Zhongli. He was knowledgeable, mature, and steady, a rare catch.

You pursued him passionately and confessed your past when you told him how you felt.

[Second Playthrough: The Judge and His Secretary]

You are a secretary at Palais Mermonia, planning to return to your hometown in Liyue to enjoy your retirement once you've earned enough money.

Your family's insistence that you get married is driving you up the wall. Your superior, Neuvillette, is a gentle man. After hearing your troubles, he proposes that the two of you get married.

"That would settle the matter once and for all, wouldn't it?" the impartial judge asks.

[Third Playthrough: The Scribe and the Florist]

Sumeru City is a gathering place for knowledge, and as a florist, you clearly don't earn the respect of those scholars.

But it doesn't matter. If they want flowers, they have to pay. Even the most prestigious scholars aren't allowed to buy on credit.

"Mr. Alhaitham, please stop buying flowers to give to me. I don't need this kind of circular income," you say helplessly.

The scholar named Alhaitham likes to buy flowers and give them to you, but you're the florist.

"But flowers are your favorite, and Mora comes second. Isn't that killing two birds with one stone?"

[Fourth Playthrough: The Mondstadt Brothers and the Test Subject]

You are a failed prototype abandoned by the Doctor. By a twist of fate, you were adopted by Adelinde of Dawn Winery.

You are grateful to everyone at Dawn Winery and never refuse any request.

But failed prototypes can still prove to be valuable. The Doctor installed a failsafe in each test subject, and the one inside you was activated one day.

Even though you didn't reveal any information, Master Crepus still encountered an unprecedentedly powerful monster.

The Knights' cover-up and the brothers' conflict erupted that night.

As Mondstadt's former twins fell apart, the excellent new estate manager vanished without a trace.

[Fifth Playthrough: The Kamisato Clan Head and the Courier]

You are a courier for Komaniya Express. Your job lets you go anywhere in all of Inazuma.

Lately, though, a lot of deliveries have been specifically assigned to you, and they all go to the Kamisato Estate.

Did he figure out that you're the cat who used to deliver messages to him when he was a child?

Kamisato Ayato once had a kitten.

The kitten was very well-behaved. It watched him attentively while he studied and comforted him with its soft paws whenever he was sad.

After something happened to his family, the kitten often spent the whole day outside, coming back dirty with a note in its mouth.

By the time he'd secured his position in the Yashiro Commission, the kitten had disappeared.

[Sixth Playthrough: The Harbinger and His Assistant]

You are the assistant to the Harbinger "Tartaglia," and can help with everything except fighting.

But that shouldn't include sleeping together or meeting family members.

It all began with a bowl of seafood soup offered as an apology. The inexplicable closeness and habitual affectionate gestures began to make your innocent superior-subordinate relationship feel wrong.

In the dim archive room, he corners you.

"Lord Tartaglia..."

"Call me Ajax."

[Seventh Playthrough: The Doctor and the Patient]

To make a sincere believer let go of their obsession, you were created as an immortal being who would nevertheless suffer unimaginable pain.

But the divine being hadn't expected this to make the believer even more obsessed.

You gradually succumb to the other's tenderness and thoughtfulness, then learn the truth just before the coming dawn.

Someone who should never have existed appeared in the mountains and ultimately vanished there, too.

[Thirteenth Playthrough: The Doctor]

If you weren't trying to save your precarious paycheck, you would never have gone to see that difficult student named Zandik.

But he clearly misunderstood something. He used the lives of your colleagues and a child to threaten you into revealing the location of the ruins.

You told him.

One rainy night, the Harbinger who had renamed himself Dottore found you and invited you to join his great experiment. You rejected him without hesitation.

Notes:

1. This is my take on a male protagonist adored by everyone, and there will definitely be more characters than the ones in the blurb.

2. The main text is in third person.

3. I'll say it first: the characters may be out of character.

[ Genshin Impact: After Rebirth, My Geo Archon Husband Has Passed Away ]

[The main text is in third person]

Danzhi never understood why his past self had been so hung up on a man whose face he couldn't even make out, to the point of using the Recollection Needle to rekindle their old relationship.

If you asked him, Mr. Zhongli of Liyue Harbor was a much better partner than Morax!

Given the lifespan of an ordinary person, Danzhi thought he could accompany Zhongli until the end of time. Once he was sure of his feelings, he confessed right away.

But for some reason, the effects of the Recollection Needle began to take hold.

Danzhi kept dreaming of making love to the Geo Archon who had long since passed away, feeling the heartbeat he used to have.

Every time he woke up after sleeping beside his beloved, he felt he was letting Zhongli down when he saw the concern on his face.

*

To resolve the problem with the Recollection Needle, Danzhi went to Jueyun Karst to look for a solution.

A friend let something slip by accident, revealing that [Zhongli = Morax].

Danzhi: ...

All right, fine. So this is how you trick me.

He packed his things that very night and returned to his abode, declaring that Zhongli was not allowed inside.

But that night, the husband who should have belonged to his past life suddenly spoke of things from this life in his dream.

After a night of entanglement, Zhongli, who should have been in Liyue Harbor, appeared beside him too, smiling as he wished Danzhi good morning.

[Reader's Guide]

1. The protagonist is an ordinary Vidyadhara, characterized by pointed ears and longevity. His main job is being a dad, so he'll be kicking the bucket out of the story.

2. Morax pairing, one-on-one.

3. [Out of character]

Theme: Never give up, no matter what.
