Please Don't Abandon the Puppy

A shy, slightly obsessive deaf top x a world-weary, bankrupt young master bottom

After his father was sabotaged and the family went bankrupt, Jiang An was sent to the countryside overnight.

From the dazzling, decadent city to a desolate town where everyone spoke with a thick accent, Jiang An clutched the cheap fabric of his clothes and felt completely out of place.

So he thought about ending his life.

He never expected that, on his way to kill himself, his sympathy would get the better of him and he'd save someone.

The man wore a wrinkled black T-shirt and faded jeans. With a purplish bruise at the corner of his eye, he hurriedly signed a jumble of nonsense at Jiang An.

Jiang An frowned, impatiently turning to leave.

But the next second, the man grabbed his wrist.

With calloused fingers, he traced two words, stroke by stroke, across Jiang An's palm.

"Thank you."

-

Jiang An never imagined that the deaf man he'd saved by chance would cling to him.

He always wore that black T-shirt, hiding somewhere he thought Jiang An wouldn't find him. Then, the instant their eyes met, he'd give Jiang An a shy smile.

The blush spreading across his fair skin revealed everything he was thinking.

Jiang An turned his head, wanting to ignore him, but he couldn't resist how kind the deaf man was.

He'd wipe the dirt from Jiang An's hands.

He'd shield him when others treated him badly.

He'd take him up to the roof to watch the stars on sleepless nights.

At first, Jiang An thought the deaf man was so good to him because he wanted his status or his looks.

Until the deaf man took Jiang An's fingers and pressed them to his throat, then shaped a sentence with broken sounds:

"You look lonely."

"It's okay. I'm here."

-

After they got together, Jiang An discovered that Bian Xun loved kissing him.

Whenever Jiang An ran out of breath and tried to stop him, Bian Xun would take off his hearing aids, pin his hands down, and seal his lips, leaving him unable to sign or beg for mercy.

When he finally let go of Jiang An, whose face was bright red, he'd deliberately lean close to his ear.

"So you didn't want me to stop?"

"From the way you were moving, I thought you were complaining I wasn't kissing you enough."
