A Professional Undercover Agent

Tachibana Suzuran has the aura of a born undercover agent. After graduating from the police academy, she accepts an offer from Public Security, complete with a mission.

But her Public Security superior turns around and sends her back to her hometown of Yokohama, assigning her to infiltrate the Port Mafia.

After finally helping the new boss rise to power,

she's just about to get promoted, earn a raise, and reach the pinnacle of life

when Boss Mori suddenly summons her.

First, he gives her a hearty pep talk.

Then, with great solemnity, he tells her that a promising young woman like her shouldn't waste her youth in the Mafia.

He also informs her that she should prepare to take the Special Division for Unusual Powers exam next year.

Tachibana Suzuran: Huh? I'm taking the civil service exam again? Is this for real?

She hasn't even spent a year with her new colleagues

when the Hunting Dogs captain urges her to hurry back for surgery,

and her bald superior starts planning to send her undercover at a distillery.

Tachibana Suzuran is utterly unfazed.

How does that saying go?

If I infiltrate enough organizations,

no one will know who sent me!
