One day, the ordinary residents of Tokyo suddenly discovered strange new organizations among them. The Tenth Generation Boss of Namimori fished a Dazai out of the river. The little death god detective of Beika met a famous detective who shared his surname. The special-grade heavy hitters of Karakura Town heard someone quote a classic office-slave motto. "If you never clock out, you never have to clock in!" The three organizations opposed and complemented one another, forming a stable three-way balance. Their members all possessed unusual abilities. But before long, people realized things were far from simple. It turned out that all three organizations had the same hand pulling the strings!
