Blanc de Blanc had grown his hair long and wore a pure-black, wide-brimmed hat. His cold gaze settled on Furuya. He seemed to remember him, at least a little, and frowned in disgust. As Furuya stood speechless at the stark change, Blanc de Blanc cocked his pistol and pressed the muzzle against Furuya’s Adam’s apple in front of everyone. “...You smell like a rat.” Gin 2.0? Octopuses are masters of disguise. They can even change color while sleeping, and can alter their body shape to suit their surroundings... That’s what makes them so successful on the ocean floor. Blanc de Blanc is an instinctive mimic octopus. He unconsciously imitates the words and actions of those around him, learning from the best in his waters. He instinctively observes others, tastes their emotions, and absorbs them. He loves what the best adapted love, and hates what they hate. Then he met a familiar-looking blond. He seemed like a sweet-talking, black-hearted smiley-faced man, and just the right kind of person to become his new nourishment. Blanc de Blanc drew close to the dark-skinned blond, but sensed grief, compassion, and a burning conviction. The little octopus, who had only ever imitated bad guys, fell into deep thought.
