An Alpha Surrounded by Omegas

>>> Blurb: After striking it rich, Yuan Yingyue moves from a barren, godforsaken planet to the bustling capital planet. Capital-planet Alpha tycoons are everywhere, and aristocratic Omegas are a dime a dozen. As a nouveau riche female Alpha, Yuan Yingyue is at the bottom of the pecking order, completely out of place among the dragon people. Still, even though the old-money elite secretly look down on her, her vast wealth means that some fallen nobles have no choice but to lower themselves and seek marriage alliances with her. So Yuan Yingyue receives an extremely, ridiculously, unbelievably long matchmaking list, filled with the names of eligible Omegas! Every one of them is of noble blood, delicate and soft, fragrant and sweet. Of course, behind every Omega is a family on the brink of bankruptcy, desperate to siphon off the fresh wealth flowing through her veins. The old nobility are confident of victory. After all, Alphas always let desire overpower reason and instinct outweigh humanity. And Omegas used as bait by their families are so irresistible. * But is that really how it goes? On the theater terrace, a beautiful, spoiled Omega noble boy lets alcohol flush his cheeks and recklessly releases the intoxicating scent of rose pheromones... Not long ago, he turned down several poor Alphas who had confessed their love to him. Yuan Yingyue: Omegas should know how to protect themselves. (Rubs her forehead with a wry smile.) Then she politely presses his burning gland against the cold sink, physically blocking the effects of his pheromones. The boy, who had hoped to seduce her while she was vulnerable: "!" Inside a convertible, the frail, aloof son of a fallen noble family rests his head on her lap. To escape his family's plan to marry him off to an old Alpha, he humbly begs to become her bride. No one knows he's a cold, vile parasitic vine, or that his decaying family is using him to find the fattest prey, draining every last bit of their wealth. Yuan Yingyue (patting his shoulder solemnly, offering encouragement): You're already an independent, self-reliant Omega. Be brave and fight against arranged marriage. The sweet-on-the-outside, sinister-within Omega who almost forced her to mark him: "..." In a secret room in a mansion, a refined, gloomy widower, confident that his maturity makes him no worse than the young, darkly craves her comfort and soothing touch. Yuan Yingyue (shy, honestly refusing): It wouldn't be good if the children saw us. (Runs away.) The gloomy widower, left deep in thought: "?" * Later, rumors begin circulating at the capital planet's Omega tea parties that Yuan Yingyue is a Beta pretending to be an Alpha. "She's got that much self-control. She must be pretending to be an Alpha," one Omega says. "Maybe she's... not up to it in bed?" another gossips. "She's so aloof and chaste, she must be a Beta!" the others whisper. The Omegas all have their own agendas, but believe it without a doubt. Before long, Yuan Yingyue's terminal is flooded with 99+ messages. "Sis, you wouldn't want anyone to find out you're pretending to be an Alpha, would you?" "It's fine. I'll trick other Alphas out of their money and support you." "Is that why you turned me down?" "I'm laughing in disbelief... I actually don't mind." Even a famously reserved, proud Omega noble house head comes to her and says, for the first time in history: "If none of them want you, I do." Yuan Yingyue, at home during her heat after her second gender differentiation, having just gone from an S+-rank Alpha to an SSS+-rank Alpha: "?" [Reader's Guide] 1.
