A Female Alpha Allergic to Her Own Pheromones

[Preorder: The Rain-Slick Window]

With only a year left until the college entrance exams, Jiang Nuan feels her phobia getting worse and worse.

Ever since she was little, she has been afraid of windows streaked with rain on rainy days.

Recently, the murders, kidnappings, and human trafficking cases happening around her have made her already sensitive mind even more strained.

On what should have been a bright, sunny day at school, her gaze through the window gradually blurs. In the panes of glass, transparent and pale with flowing rainwater, she sees the reflection of an adult and a child.

Who are they?

Jiang Nuan strains to make them out, but someone suddenly taps her shoulder. She turns around and sees only her deskmate, Qiao Yiqing, whose face is pale and lifeless.

"It's me." Perhaps seeing how shaken Jiang Nuan still is, Qiao Yiqing opens his mouth gently, his lips like torn white paper. "Don't be afraid."

But the shadows behind him cling and coil around him, damp and burning hot.

A strange, familiar sense of calm...

[Has Qiao Yiqing noticed that she keeps peeking at him?]

[Does he mind?] Jiang Nuan asks herself.

[He doesn't mind.]

The ghostly shadow behind Qiao Yiqing speaks for its despicable, stubborn master: [Because he is watching you just as intently as you watch him.]

Blurb:

Lin Xiyin used to fantasize countless times about having a phantom limb before she transmigrated into an ABO world. Don't ask why. She just wanted to give a cute boy a home.

After presenting as an Alpha at twelve, with the scent of blood for her pheromones, she slowly broke into a smile.

But when she got her genetic sequencing results, a doctor barely containing his laughter pulled her aside and told her, "You'll have an allergic reaction as soon as you smell your own pheromones, so try to be alone and avoid intimate relationships." Her dream of becoming a super-macho top shattered.

After saying this, the doctor even patted Lin Xiyin's head sympathetically.

Lin Xiyin: ...

Feeling looked down on, she slapped the doctor's hand away. "Don't look down on a young man just because he's poor" was on the tip of her tongue, but she held it back.

Because the doctor was an Omega, and his hand was so soft. She liked it so much.

When Lin Xiyin learned that her allergic reaction made her cry and say lewd things, she wanted to refuse.

She was the world's most macho top. She couldn't let anyone see her like this, not even on her deathbed!

Forgive her. She'd have to practice abstinence for the rest of her life, so she might as well enjoy touching that hand a little longer. Thinking this, Lin Xiyin's eyes filled with tears as she wished she could rub the doctor's hand until sparks flew.

After twenty years of living a chaste life, Lin Xiyin was cornered one night by a perverted Omega assassin who liked the smell of blood.

"Let out your pheromones and let me smell them again, or I'll kill you!" Desperate for the scent of blood to soothe him, his eyes were nearly bloodshot.

With the knife point gleaming coldly at her throat, Lin Xiyin was forced to release her pheromones.

Once the danger had passed, the Omega angrily cursed her: "Is this your kink? That's disgusting..."

Wait... Did he think her damn allergic reaction was a kink and a turn-on? Then what about her macho top image...

Lin Xiyin smiled.

But after she stopped living chastely, the men around her suddenly multiplied. There were Alphas, Betas, and Omegas. They started clawing at each other, and once an Alpha police officer even hauled the perverted Omega assassin off to the station.

"What's so great about this crying Alpha?" asked one curious bystander.

"You just don't understand how great Lin Xiyin is!" the men chorused. An Alpha who cries, talks dirty, and bites their glands? They absolutely adore her!
