Brother Monkey: Just thinking about beating Heaven into the ground again makes Old Sun laugh. I'm only pretending to give in for now. It doesn't make me any less of a demon!

But Brother Monkey never expected that Heaven's price for setting him free would be escorting a monk to the West.

Brother Monkey refused without a second thought.

Then, right in front of Brother Monkey, the monk shattered Five Elements Mountain with a single strike of his staff.

Brother Monkey: ...

Brother Monkey: Right. That's exactly the sort of thing I'd do.

Six-Eared Macaque: Sun Wukong, you should...

Brother Monkey looked at the monkey before him, identical in every way to himself, and his Fiery Golden Eyes blazed. Six-Eared Macaque jumped and instinctively shut his mouth.

Brother Monkey: No need to say anything. I get it. I'll go back to Flower-Fruit Mountain, and you go to Tang Seng.

Six-Eared Macaque: ???

Bonus scene 2:

One day, the double agents held a meeting about how to stab Heaven in the back.

Brother Monkey: Here's the plan, Old Sun has an idea! First we do this, then that!

Double Agent No. 1: Sounds great. I'm in.

Double Agent No. 2: Fine by me. But first, I want to be the one to deal with that pagoda's base.

Tang Sanzang was born in a dark cyberpunk world, and he'd always known he was different. Everyone in this world had a unique weapon they were born with, and he was no exception.

His birth weapon was an infinite-ammo Gatling gun.

When the Buddhist order that had adopted him found out what his birth weapon was, they all fell silent.

He had kind eyes and a vermilion mole between his brows, giving him the appearance of someone destined for the Buddha's path. Everyone had assumed his birth weapon would be a monk's staff, a wooden fish, or something of the sort.

But Tang Sanzang, Gatling gun in hand, didn't think there was any problem. He was even eager to use his birth weapon to bring others to the faith, always on the front lines of converting the world.

But as his fame grew, everyone started avoiding him. Just as he was wondering how he could go on converting people, Tang Sanzang suddenly transmigrated to a world full of people who needed converting.

And so he happily set out on the Journey to the West.

Tang Sanzang: Wow.

Tang Sanzang: Tell me, good sir, would you be willing to take refuge in Buddhism? Or... shall this humble monk send you to meet the Buddha right now?

The demon with a Gatling gun pressed to its head: ...

Tang Sanzang: Hmm? This humble monk can't quite hear you. Are you unwilling?

Demon: I am willing!!!
