Do I Look Human to You?

A crazy cockatoo uke and an entertainment-industry worker seme

For the sake of the plot, the production crew rented a cockatoo. Since Qin Guanzhi was the actor who had to perform scenes with it, he was asked to spend his breaks getting to know the bird and building a bond to make filming easier.

The parrot could talk, sing, and dance. Qin Guanzhi adored it and even bought a pile of little toys out of his own pocket to play with it.

One day, on a whim, Qin Guanzhi taught the parrot a sentence: "Do I look human to you?"

The parrot was clever and quickly learned the phrase. It would ask Qin Guanzhi every so often, "Do I look human to you?"

Qin Guanzhi played along and answered, "You do."

He thought it was just a joke, until one day someone claiming to work for the Demon Alliance Administration suddenly showed up and took the parrot away.

Only then did Qin Guanzhi learn that, because he'd carelessly taught the parrot to ask people whether it looked human, it had accidentally succeeded in asking for a divine rank and awakened its intelligence.

Qin Guanzhi: His worldview suddenly crumbled.

After the parrot was taken away, Qin Guanzhi's life went back to normal. Then one day, after waking up, he saw a familiar-looking green onion stalk standing outside his window.

When the parrot saw Qin Guanzhi looking over, it quickly tapped the window with its beak. "Hello, can you let me in?"

Theme: Be careful raising a cockatoo, and get along with your neighbors.
