Has the Vampire Elder Divorced Yet?

Li Can realizes something is off about her new husband.

Her husband, Griffith, is an outstanding banker: handsome, wealthy, gentle, and polite. Everyone says Li Can has married into a life of luxury.

Yet not long after their wedding, she discovers that her husband is awake at night and asleep during the day, has a low body temperature, hates sunlight, and suffers from terrible weakness for a few days every month.

A friend guesses, "Could he be a vampire?"

Li Can laughs. "How could that be? There's no way I wouldn't recognize a vampire..."

After all, she's a vampire hunter hiding among ordinary people.

Until a mistake gets her captured by an ancient vampire family and locked in a gloomy, terrifying dungeon.

The blood clan elder who walks in wears a silver mask and speaks in a low, icy voice.

"Welcome, Miss Hunter. You're now officially a member of the family."

The blood clan elder removes his mask. It's none other than Li Can's perfect husband.

When the blood clan releases Li Can, she thinks she must be dreaming. After all, vampire hunters who fall into vampires' hands usually meet a horrific end.

Dazed, she returns home and opens the door, only to see her handsome husband wearing an apron and cooking her favorite dishes in the kitchen.

Terrified, Li Can bolts for the door. But Griffith, who was just in the kitchen, appears in front of her the very next second.

He smiles at her and asks, "Lily, where are you going?"

Li Can trembles as she answers, "I-I... A friend invited me over."

Griffith's smile grows deeper and more intense. "Lily, this is your home. It always will be."
