Go Ahead, Keep Acting

[The joke is the joke; the title and blurb may change] Shen Leshi suspects his sister was tricked into marrying a gay man. To gather evidence, he has no choice but to sacrifice himself: he puts on a see-through fishnet outfit and tiny crotch-covering shorts, then knocks on the passenger-side window. "Hey, handsome, I'm lost. Could you take me home?" He bats his three-centimeter-long false eyelashes and sways his hips in eight different directions. The car door opens, and he climbs in with a long-legged stride. Just as his hand touches the man's thigh, the man slams on the brakes and stops right in front of the police station. Gripping his wrist, the man drags him straight inside. "I'd like to report someone for engaging in illegal activities in public." "You idiot! I'm not a gigolo!" As more and more people gather to watch, Shen Leshi grows increasingly panicked. He curses furiously in his head, but forces two pitiful tears onto his face. "Sir, could I borrow your coat first, please?" A few days later, a director parachuted in from headquarters to take over the branch, stealing Shen Leshi's chance at a promotion. Fuming, he strides into the conference room, only to see the handsome man from that night sitting at the head of the table. The man asks, "Is your salary so low that you have to earn money doing that kind of work? Or is it something you actually enjoy?" Shen Leshi clenches both fists behind his back, but puts on a wronged, pitiful expression. "Weren't you satisfied that night? But... your coat is still at my place." The man narrows his eyes dangerously, the veins at his temples bulging. The onlookers: Are... are they a thing? * Only when Shen Leshi is pinned helplessly to the bed, crying and begging for mercy, does Shao Zhuxuan say in a low voice, his eyes dark: "Your acting was much better when you pretended to mistake my car and tried to seduce me." Shen Leshi stubbornly denies it: "You're the one acting! Your whole family is acting!" Shao Zhuxuan: "Then act it out again for me."
