A 10,000-word update will be released then.] New upcoming story: “After Transmigrating, I Fell for a Widower Who Brings Misfortune” Male lead's POV, a story about men who can bear children, with pregnancy, set in an imaginary dynasty, with a small ensemble cast They say Qizhou has a Black Bear Ridge, and on that ridge is Black Bear Stronghold, home to a Black Bear King. The king is seventeen or eighteen, full of youthful vigor. He likes to rob travelers and favors beautiful women. He has a hundred or so bandits under him, every one of them a ruthless killer. He preys on government officials and robs merchants and peddlers. He cuts a fearsome figure, terrorizing the entire region. When socialist youth Zhou Si heard this rumor, he kicked over a table and left a thumbs-down. Heaven knows, when he opened his eyes and realized he'd been reborn in ancient times, he thought he could live as a carefree playboy. But then his father joined the outlaw stronghold on Liangshan, also known as Black Bear Ridge. They might be called bandits, but they lived miserable, meager lives. His conscience wouldn't let him rob and pillage, so they barely scraped by through farming and weaving. To get enough to eat, they had to work the land, educate the people, and increase production. Were there any bandits with more of a conscience than them? So where had that rumor even come from? In these troubled times, ordinary people only seek a way to survive. Our protagonist, who still believes he can help the world, holds to the nine-word motto: Build strong walls, stockpile grain, and wait to claim the throne. The Qin family has a son: cold and proud, peerlessly beautiful, clever and strategic, sought after by every family for marriage. But the country is in turmoil, and the emperor is incompetent. The empire is beset by internal and external troubles. His father advocates war, earning the emperor's displeasure, so the son is ordered to marry King Cheng of Rongzhou as his principal consort. On the way to Qizhou, he passes through Black Bear Ridge, is attacked, and receives help. He stays at the stronghold. His nature remains unchanged. They suit each other. By a twist of fate, they are destined to spend their lives together. From an author who makes things up Theme: Persevere, and even in the most desperate circumstances you can turn things around.
