After Reincarnating as a Cat, I Was Picked Up by My Archrival

Lin Yingshan, the mighty young general of the Southern Garrison, died in battle and transmigrated into the body of a stray tuxedo kitten in the modern world.

On his tenth day as a stray, a man in a suit found him and took him home.

Strangely enough, the man looked exactly like his nemesis, Zhao Qinyi, the arrogant, overbearing regent who had lorded it over everyone!

Zhao Qinyi had transmigrated to the modern world over a year ago and become a veterinarian.

He had thought about dying, hoping to die his way back.

Then, in the rain, he found a stray cat with a black spot on its nose. It reminded him of someone.

Lin Yingshan had a mole beside his nose.

Zhao Qinyi wanted to hold him while he ate, so he got scratched.

He wanted to hold him while he slept, so he got bitten.

When Zhao Qinyi saw other cats and dogs in the clinic, Lin Yingshan would charge over and go after them.

Just as a cat-and-dog brawl was about to break out, Zhao Qinyi grabbed him.

“Looks like you'll need to be neutered.”

“What does neutered mean?”

A cat nearby who'd already been neutered said, “They cut off your balls.”

To avoid getting his balls cut off, Lin Yingshan became a completely different cat.

He learned to nuzzle, rub against Zhao Qinyi, and lick him. He clung to him all day, demanding to be held and petted. He even meowed, rolled over on his lap, and slept under the same covers at night.

But then, one night, something unexpected happened.

Zhao Qinyi dreamed. In his dream, he called out Lin Yingshan's name, and his tears fell on the cat's ears.

The next moment, Lin Yingshan felt his body grow hot, and finally, he had a human body again.

Zhao Qinyi woke in the middle of the night because of the heat. Out of habit, he reached for the cat's usual spot, but when he lifted the covers, he saw a handsome face flushed crimson. The mole beside his nose was faintly visible, and long silver-white hair spilled over his chest. Lin Yingshan raised his eyes to stare at him, his voice full of embarrassed fury. “Don't look at me!”

Zhao Qinyi watched him for a moment. Dim light fell along the contours of his face. He clenched the edge of the blanket and lowered his eyes. “...”

The next day, Lin Yingshan turned back into a cat. He could still talk, and he kicked and bit Zhao Qinyi.

“Still mad? It's not like I haven't seen you before.”
