Don't Love Me Too Much [Esports]

My new novel, Offering My Glands to My Crush, is now serializing!

Blurb:

At the international tournament, genius player Trick claimed the top spot on the kill leaderboard with his own skill alone.

Inside the sunny and cheerful Trick's livestream.

The screen was showing last year's MGG World Finals.

On camera, Trick's expression was cool as he glanced at the comments.

Viewer: Trick, so many clubs made you offers. Why did you choose MGG and no one else?

Trick: They offered the most money.

Viewer: Some say it's because you lost to MGG captain Suvior in a 1v1 during the final circle of the international tournament, and joined MGG because you couldn't accept the loss.

He looked at Suvior's player-view feed in the upper-left corner of the match screen.

A buzz cut, a slit in his eyebrow, and an arrogant, disdainful air.

Trick: They're right.

Viewer: Then could you give us your opinion of Suvior?

Trick: A reckless brute.

The next day, at the press conference announcing Trick's entry into MGG.

The media thrust a microphone in front of Suvior.

Media: Suvior, do you have anything to say in response to Trick's opinion of you?

Suvior: He's such a poser.

After the interview, in the backstage lounge.

Xia Zhi locked the door behind him and cornered Wen Su against it.

A moment later, the sound of a keyboard being smashed came from inside.

The media broke the story that MGG's entry fragger and sniper had fought in the lounge.

To repair the team's reputation, the coach organized a team-building outing.

In a corner of the private room, where no one paid them any attention,

Wen Su, slightly tipsy, grabbed Xia Zhi and confessed his love.

"Suvior, actually... hic... I've always been your fan. I, I really like you."

The next day, the news that MGG's entry fragger and sniper were as close as brothers and had gone to an esports couples' hotel after leaving the KTV topped the trending list.
