Toward the Sun

Sunward / Ji Zhi Ya | Main story complete

What should I do? My doctor boyfriend is so handsome!

Refined scoundrel, gentle seme x scheming, jealous uke

Synopsis:

Shen Yi was deceived. The person who deceived him was his first love. That's right, the guy known as "the Prince of Tennis who steals girls' hearts, the school heartthrob of Second High School, Li Xiangyang." Though, to be precise, his nickname was: Third Place.

Li Xiangyang ranked third in his entire grade, third on the school heartthrob list, and third from the bottom in Chinese. He didn't mind, but his Chinese really was as bumpy as a tractor ride.

One day, he ran into Shen Yi at the entrance to his neighborhood and suddenly came up with a brilliant plan.

Shen Yi became his private tutor, teaching him Chinese, history, geography, politics, and even aesthetics from both China and abroad. Gradually, Shen Yi found himself drawn to him. This iron tree that had stood for ten thousand years seemed to be swaying.

Years later, Shen Yi ran into Li Xiangyang, now a doctor, at the hospital. Only then did he realize he'd been deceived. He had gone to so much trouble teaching him the humanities, only for Li Xiangyang to end up as a top scorer in the sciences and become an emergency room doctor. Realizing it too late, Shen Yi felt like a clown, played in the palm of Li Xiangyang's hand.

Li Xiangyang: "Professor Shen is so easy to fool."

Shen Yi: "Hmph."

And so the flirtatious little white rabbit makes his move, deliberately appearing in front of Shen Yi whenever he can. But Li Xiangyang, back in Shen Yi's life, has no idea that this innocent, big bad wolf has only ever had eyes for him.

Coming up:

1. Older man/younger man romance, primarily from the seme's point of view.

2. One-on-one romance, both have feelings for each other, and the uke falls first.

Theme: Live toward the sun, bright and shining.
