I Got Immortality, So I Decided to Seek Death

At first, Lola had no idea she was immortal.

It wasn't until seven days after her first successful suicide attempt that she came back to life in a sealed room filled with the stench of corpses.

Outside, the property manager and police pounded on the door. "Is anyone still alive in there?"

Inside, Lola stared at the lividity fading from her arm. "Damn it, why is it so hard to die?"

Lola: The world is a rat race, life is utterly boring. I'm done playing this Earth Online game.

But jumping off a building might hurt an innocent bystander, jumping into a river might scare the fishermen, and hanging herself might turn her into an urban legend. Cutting her wrists or burning charcoal might inconvenience the cleaners.

To avoid lowering the property values in her neighborhood, she shoulders her things and sets off on a long journey to find a way to die.

She crosses cities and wilderness, dying and coming back to life time and time again. Sitting on her own grave and standing on an urn full of ashes, Lola falls into deep thought:

I want to die, but somehow I feel like someone else should be the one to die.

And so...

A sadistic serial killer discovers that the victim he dismembered is slowly piecing herself back together on the chopping block, covered in blood and carrying a chainsaw.

A driver who repeatedly ran over a victim after a car accident and fled the scene returns to the site, only to see the mangled victim standing grimly beside his car.

A crooked doctor who harvests living people's organs on the black market watches as a hollowed-out person, stripped of every organ, comes toward him.

Bandits who rob and kill hikers in the desert are relentlessly pursued through a sandstorm by a mummified corpse...

These people: Don't come any closer!
