Raise Your Wife from Childhood [Reborn]

Both protagonists are reborn. A slice-of-life story about two childhood friends, starting when they're little. Slow burn.

Her partner of nine years suddenly broke up with her, using the old "my first love is back in the country" excuse.

"If you've got the guts, never see me again!"

Yu Qiu threw out those words and broke up with Ni Yi.

One day, a friend told her, "Ni Yi wants to see you. Go visit her."

Yu Qiu was still sulking over the breakup. "I'm not going."

A few days later, her friend said, "I don't know what to say. Come see her at home."

Yu Qiu thought Ni Yi couldn't let her go after all. She knew their nine years together had meant something.

Yu Qiu went to Ni Yi's home. Before she even entered, she heard heart-wrenching sobs. She stepped inside and saw a black-and-white photograph in the middle of the mourning hall.

Ni Yi was smiling, as if to say: You're finally here.

Yu Qiu stood frozen. When she belatedly realized what she had missed, tears streamed from her eyes.

When Yu Qiu woke up, she found herself with tiny arms and legs. She had gone back to being six years old.

Her mother was choosing a school for her.

Yu Qiu suddenly piped up in her childish voice, "Mom, I want to go to XX Elementary School."

On the first day of school, she spotted a little girl with a babyish face in the crowd. She recognized the mini version of Ni Yi at once.

She ran over, pulled out the lychee candies Ni Yi used to love, and coaxed her, "Want one? If you do, you have to say something to me!"

Little Ni Yi blinked. "Okay!"

Yu Qiu said, "Say, 'You're my first love.'"

A flicker of amusement passed through little Ni Yi's eyes. "But I don't have a first love, so I can't lie."

Yu Qiu met those innocent eyes. After a moment's hesitation, she smiled and stuffed all the lychee candies in her pocket into Ni Yi's hands.

"Eat up!"

That's her wife!

She's going to raise her from childhood!
