Playing an NPC in an Infinite World

The Most Laid-Back NPC VS the Strongest Player

After being transported into an Infinite Flow world based on the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching, Jiang Xia became an NPC.

Work hours: nonstop, every day of the year.

Job duties: hand out clues and mess with players.

Jiang Xia: I’m going to slack off.

On her very first day of work as an NPC, Jiang Xia was "provoked" by a player.

The player grabbed her by the collar, said she looked familiar, and threatened to kiss her unless she handed over the clues.

Jiang Xia shivered and looked up. The moment she recognized the player, she thought:

Of course she looks familiar! That’s her ex-girlfriend!

Jiang Xia activated her NPC skill, conjured a long ghostly tongue, and mischievously brushed it against the player’s lips.

"There, now you’ve had your fill of kissing me."

Yi Qiuhan: ...

A story about two protagonists who enter an Infinite Flow world: one becomes an NPC, the other a player. After they meet, they take turns messing with each other, and before they know it, they’ve given each other their hearts~

[Note]

1. The story is set in 64 fictional Infinite Flow worlds based on the sixty-four hexagrams of the I Ching.

2. This is entirely fictional and for entertainment purposes only. Please don’t take it as fact or try to verify it. Don’t take it seriously!

3. Plot-driven, with a fairly expansive world. There’s a lot of setup early on, so I’ll leave it here for now. Feel free to bookmark it if you’re interested. Maybe one day I’ll get a sudden burst of inspiration and write it (It’s so cold, I’m wrapping myself in a little blanket).

Theme: The ways of Heaven are ever-changing.
