Xiang Liu, But Tan Jianci (Lost You Forever Fanfiction)

The clash of souls and intense push-and-pull between Tan Jianci, the "Big Brother of the Haoliu Troupe," and Xiang Liu, the "Nine-Headed Demon."

When they're at each other's throats, it goes like this:

Xiang Liu: I'm going to eat you!

Tan Jianci: Eat what? I'm just playing a character in a show!

Xiang Liu: Who are you, anyway?

Tan Jianci: I'm Jianci Without a Groom, the North Sea Without a Road, the Big Brother of Haoliu: Tan Jianci!

Xiang Liu: (He didn't understand the first part. Slowly, suspiciously, and dangerously, he spits out two words.) Big... Brother?

Tan Jianci: (Happily, now that he's been acknowledged.) Yeah! I'm right here!

Xiang Liu: Get out of my body!

Tan Jianci: What do you mean, get out? Big Brother's going to help you win over a girl!

Xiang Liu: Say that again!

Tan Jianci: (What's wrong with this kid's brain?) You don't understand "win over a girl"? I mean, I'll help you find a wife!

Xiang Liu: (At the end of his patience.) Get out!

Tan Jianci: Sure thing, Snake Liu! (It's not like you can actually eat me anyway.)

When they have a proper conversation, it goes like this:

Tan Jianci: One heartache shared between two, endless sorrow. Tsk, why should it be Longing for You and not Staying by Your Side? If regrets are inevitable in this world, why do you have to be the one left with them? Xiang Liu, do you think you're being noble? You're being selfish! You're a coward!

Xiang Liu: Shut up!

Tan Jianci: I hit a nerve! You're getting worked up!

Xiang Liu: What do you know?

Tan Jianci: You stubborn old nine-headed demon. No one knows your thoughts better than I do. You love her more than anyone, don't you? Just watch, I'll take care of everything this time!

Theme: Give Xiao Yao and Snake Liu a happy ending. Yes, Big Brother's the one who'll give it to them!
