Online Series Hikaru No Go: Tales from the Hokuto Cup

"Go is... the kind of thing that, once you fall in love with it, you can never let go."

"Thanks for playing Go with me!"

"Which game?"

"Not one game. These past nine years."

"Save something that important for after I beat the North Star Cup."

But is winning the North Star Cup really going to be that easy? What happened on Xiaoguang and Xiaoliang's trip to Korea? Did Chu Ying really disappear just like that?

Shiguang, Chu Ying, Yu Liang... It's 2023. I wonder if anyone else is still as caught up in their story as I am.

I couldn't move on, so I wrote this story.

When I started writing, I realized it wasn't me writing about them. They were already so vividly alive in my heart.

Thank you for crossing my path. May time treat us kindly.

P.S. For now, there are only the "North Star Cup Arc" and the "Dreams of the Southern Liang Arc." The two stories intersect and complement each other. If inspiration strikes again, I'll continue.

Theme: Every act of perseverance in the world comes from love for what you do.
