The Sound of Rain: A Special Episode of The Teacher's Diary

The number-one female assassin of the Kingdom of Boluo, notorious for being cold-blooded and merciless, was unexpectedly mistaken for a little white rabbit and taken home to be adopted by a gentle, unassuming young gentleman. Mistaking her for a man would have been one thing, but he even wanted to send her to an academy. Why make an assassin study benevolence, righteousness, propriety, wisdom, and faithfulness? Gu Yuyan silently rolled her eyes. Well, don't blame me for turning the Tang Dynasty's foremost academy upside down. After all, her master, the Fourth Prince of Boluo, Yuwen Ji, wanted to muddy the waters of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. But things kept heading in unexpected directions. Her heart, long since dead, slowly began to realize she might have fallen for Master Nie, who was always as warm as the sun and as calm as water. Time and again, she risked everything and defied her master's orders. Just as she was preparing to "leave the darkness for the light," she learned by chance that the only reason he had taken her home was that she looked so much like Miss Yun Fei. So all that warmth was nothing but an illusion. What should Gu Yuyan do now...? A fanfic about Nie Wenxing, the second male lead in The Sharp-Tongued Teacher. I watched the drama three years ago and felt it didn't end quite right, so I imagined this extra story. But the full-length plot was too ambitious, and I never finished it. Looking back today, I still think this little story is pretty cute, so I've decided to post it and let it see the light of day. Just think of it as a little bonus story. Theme:
