The Tale of Runyu: A Life Without Worry (Ashes of Love Fanfiction)

Who says the second male lead doesn't deserve a story of his own? When I watch dramas, I always see people saying, "If you're so capable, write a Runyu story." Fine, I'll do it. That's how capable I am. *shrugs and sticks out tongue* The story continues after Jin Mi's death in episode 61 of the TV series. Jin Mi and Er Feng remain a couple. Told from the heroine's perspective, the writing is lighthearted and lively, with a happy ending, though there may be a little angst along the way. All right, here's the proper blurb: "Love gives rise to sorrow; love gives rise to fear. For those who have left love behind, there is neither sorrow nor fear." If your heart holds love, why fear sorrow or fear? "From now on, your name will be Wuyou." I thought the story began when a white dragon picked me up and took me back to the Celestial Realm. Little did I know that all these ties of fate had been decided a thousand years ago. When the veil over the truth slowly lifted, I discovered that our love was false, our hatred was false, and even our first meeting was false. I wasn't even myself. Runyu, now that it has come to this, I can no longer tell whether you deceived me or I betrayed you. P.S. The heroine isn't Jin Mi. She may seem a little mysterious, but keep reading and you'll find out. The author is a fan of the TV version of Runyu. No ship wars, please. If you don't like the dragon prince, feel free to move along.
