Chunibyo: A Failed Playbook

Sato Tsuka Akira started writing his autobiography, "My Gentle, Self-Reliant Self", at the age of ten: (Friendly reminder: Everything below is a chuunibyou fantasy.) I am Jinguji Yatomikoto, the hot-blooded hero of a shonen manga. By day, I'm the rising star of the police force. My colleagues next door, Matsuda Jinpei and Hagiwara Kenji, worship the ground I walk on. By night, I'm the leader of the Black Car Organization, a god who protects undercover agents. My subordinates include, but are not limited to, my second-in-command Nozaki Umetaro; my third-in-command Hondou Hidemi; Morofushi Hiromitsu, Furuya Rei, and Akai Shuichi; as well as my beautiful, tragic-romance CP, Sharon Vineyard, and so on... Then one day, I discovered that they'd all defected to a place called the Dream's End Organization, and even gotten codenames based on liquors. Damn it, so they're all traitors to the organization! Luckily, my loyal tutor has already gone undercover in the Dream's End Organization and earned the codename Gin. All I have to do now is persuade the Dream's End Organization's Purple Tears Princess, Miyano Shiho, to change sides, and then we'll attack from within and without! My ascension to Emperor of the Dark Night is just around the corner! [Editor 002] Akai Shuichi's comment: Fewer typos this time. You're improving. Also, you might want to change your CP. [Editor 003] Hondou Hidemi's comment: I suggest changing the genre to “Modern Fantasy: Light Novel,” or maybe “My Friends and Family's Contact List.” After all, aside from the names, not a single word is true. [Editor 004] Kudo Shinichi's comment: You... managing to get tangled up with all these people is a kind of genius in itself. Story details: 1. First person for the protagonist, third person for the supporting cast 2. Protagonist tags: chuunibyou, character growth, not very bright, trying hard to learn how to be a person, sincere P.S. 1. Several people have one-sided crushes on the protagonist. No CP in the main story; side routes in the extras. 2. I love angsty, fiery stories. No particular reason; I just don't have the brains to write a competent protagonist. ? A new cover is here! Thanks to [Red Bean Lover] for making it. It's super cute, chu~ Theme: A fun, stress-relieving read
