[Detective Conan Short Story] No Ocean Pollution Allowed

[Unrestricted chapter comments enabled!] [The story is complete. Please leave a five-star review!]

1.

Narumi Shion is a mermaid with an obsessive cleanliness complex when it comes to water quality.

So it's only natural for her to establish a marine conservation foundation, set up a company, and buy a hotel on the shore of Tokyo Bay, right?

2.

Isn't it strange for a mermaid to have a fear of the deep sea? Well, she can't help it, considering one of her childhood friends is a total disaster.

3.

After meeting the friendly Officer Hagiwara, Narumi Shion fell into deep thought. Could he be born with a succubus constitution?

Reading Tips:

1. A little sweet story with Kenji Hagiwara as the pairing, more or less. Added 2024.11.22: It's an older-woman/younger-man romance. The heroine is two years older than Hagiwara. (Putting this here so I don't forget.)

2. Contains OOC characterization, liberties, and original settings. A slice-of-life story that rambles along. The romance should develop quickly, while serious plot is almost nonexistent. It won't reach the year the Detective Conan story begins, and the other characters won't appear often.

3. The heroine is a mermaid, but the story won't deal with different lifespans.

4. The story was inspired by the six-star mermaid outfit in Lovebrush Chronicles. The fish tail is so beautiful, I fell head over heels for it. Some aspects of the mermaid setting are also based on One Piece, and I'll note them when they appear.

5. The childhood-friend and world-ending side stories don't have the couple cuddling together. Sorry for going off track! (10/26)

Theme: The real naturally-born succubus constitution versus the fake heavenly voice.
