Miss Holmes of Rikkai

Sakurai Miyo, known as Rikkai's Miss Holmes, is always turning up at crime scenes.

Miss Holmes has her very own Watson: Sanada, her childhood friend who grew up alongside her, the tennis club's vice captain, and the school's disciplinary committee member.

Every day, Mr. Watson worries that Miss Holmes has once again gotten caught up in a case, and that she's late again!

"You're so slack!" Mr. Watson says, adjusting his hat as he skillfully enters the crime scene to help Miss Holmes deal with the aftermath.

On the first day of high school, Sakurai Miyo is late because she helped the neighbor's kid look for a cat. She finds her childhood friend waiting with his arms crossed outside the classroom.

"You're not on the disciplinary committee yet, so don't think you can punish me!" Sakurai Miyo says, wearing a wary catlike expression.

"…" Sanada.

According to eyewitness Yukimura, Sanada's face that day was as dark as when their junior, the little seaweed head, gets failing grades in every subject.

Reader's guide:

1. Sakurai Miyo x Sanada. The heroine is a cheerful, straightforward puppy.

2. A light school romance with mystery-solving elements.

3. Although Detective Conan is listed as a fandom, the story barely touches the main plot.

4. There aren't many tennis match scenes.

Here's a recommendation for my upcoming story!

Haikyuu!! fanfic: My Childhood Friend Is Called Kenma, pairing: Kenma

Synopsis:

Kuroo Saki has a childhood friend. He doesn't talk much, and he's an incredibly skilled gamer.

The first time they met, Kuroo Saki splashed ramune all over him.

The second time they met, Kuroo Saki fell to the ground and went home bawling, and he saw the whole thing.

The third time they met, Kuroo Saki's older brother had already become good friends with him. It was the first time she realized her brother didn't belong to her alone.

"So how did you two end up together?" Kuroo Tetsuro asked, his face twisted in horror after belatedly realizing his little sister had been stolen away.

Kuroo Saki looked left and right, refusing to meet her brother's eyes. After a while, she said in a tiny voice, "But he can help me beat games..."

Please note:

1. Kenma pairing, one-on-one romance.

2. There won't be many match scenes. The story mainly focuses on daily life.

3. Apologies for any out-of-character moments.
