[Genshin Impact] The Dragon I Stan

Ying Yu was one of the Vidyadhara on the Xianzhou Luofu and the biggest fan of the Imbibitor Lunae. During the Imbibitor Lunae incident, she was stabbed in the kidney for supporting the Moon-Drinker. Seventeen years into her next life, she was caught up in a mess caused by an Emanator of Destruction and flew her starskiff straight into a spatial rift.

Landing on an unfamiliar planet wasn't a big problem. Nor was the fact that its level of development seemed to suggest its technology tree had been locked. But when a dragon saved her as she fell through the atmosphere, that was a very big problem.

There were actually descendants of another dragon ancestor on this remote little planet?

Ying Yu, a devoted dragon fan in both her past and present lives, nervously grabbed the handsome young man's arm and fussed over him.

Dragon, how did you end up stranded on this desolate planet? How old are you? Did you hurt your back just now?

Rex Lapis, still in office at over six thousand years old: ?

After he explained the situation, Ying Yu looked disappointed for a moment, but soon another spark of passion lit up her eyes.

"I hope you don't mind me asking, Morax, but can you still have children?"

Morax smiled awkwardly but politely. That really was a rather forward question.

But when he learned that the Vidyadhara had lost the ability to reproduce, and that not a single newborn had been born among them for tens of thousands of years, he understood her anxiety.

Zhongli, with time on his hands after stepping down from his post: "If you can find a way to solve the Vidyadhara's predicament through me, I'll be happy to cooperate."

The next day

Ying Yu: "There's really a Hydro Dragon in Fontaine?! Zhongli, don't just sit there silently! I'm only going to take a look! You know our Dragon Lord uses water too. There must be some profound connection between them, and so on and so on."

Watching her talk at length, eyes sparkling, Zhongli silently raised his teacup to hide his expression.

[ I know, and I believe it was precisely this bond that brought you to me. ]

PS: Honkai: Star Rail is just the backdrop. The plot mostly takes place in Teyvat.

PPS: The goal is to solve the Vidyadhara's population problem, but whether it will be solved is still undecided. Even if it is, the female lead probably won't give birth during the story.

The female lead follows the Path of Harmony and is a Quantum character. You can think of her as a support, the kind who can buff herself.

Theme: Love your fellow people.
